Representation matters—and the underrepresentation of Black creators in American popular culture means that the stories we see every day don’t always reflect the reality of our world. Milestone understands that empowering new voices is a path to new ideas, more powerful role models, and deeper wells of inspiration for future creators. It’s time for some Fresh Ink.
This visual identity reflects that sentiment. The pop of vibrant, bold colors and the layering of inkblots in this approach conveys dynamic creative force and energy—the spark that ignites when emerging artists are able to change the narrative and tell their own story.
